Hi, I'm Manar.
I grew up as the kid who noticed when things didn't work — and couldn't stop thinking about how to fix them. Not just functionally, but for the people who actually had to live with them. That instinct never went away. It just found a name: design.
I'm a UX and experience designer based in Chicagoland, with a background that spans business strategy, new media, and visual craft. I've worked across enterprise platforms, education, publishing, and content — bringing the same approach every time: understand the people first, then build something that actually works for them.
To me, every product has a story. The research uncovers it. The design tells it. Getting that right — clearly, inclusively, in a way that holds up in the real world — is what keeps me in a permanent learning state. That's exactly where I want to be.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me on the trails somewhere deep in my own thoughts, experimenting with my next Paleo recipe, or sketching fashion ideas in the margins of whatever notebook is nearby. The curiosity doesn't really switch off — it just changes subjects.
